About the project
Does your pupils are dreaming about future occupations, but do not know what specific skills the representatives of different occupations need? Youngsters are looking for a job but they do not know how to complete the Europass CV? Do you encourage your pupils to read, but they prefer computer games? If you answered YES three times then this Project is just for you and your pupils!
Aims
To encourage pupils to read by applying the strategy of embedded reading that will help pupils to better understand the state of the heroes, assess their actions, get acquainted with various occupations and teach them to complete the Europass CV for said heroes.
Work Process
• By use of various IT tools, pupils will prepare presentations of the project members "Let’s get acquainted".
• During the summer holidays, pupils will read books suggested by themselves or their teachers.
• While reading books, pupils will fill in the CVs of the literary heroes.
• At the start of the school year, during the native language lessons pupils will learn how to fill in the Europass CV.
• Using the gained knowledge and skills, pupils will discuss the CVs of the literary heroes and supplement them with the missing information.
• During the English language lessons, pupils will translate the CVs of the literary heroes and upload them on the Employers' Fair page.
• The participants of the project will read the CVs of the literary heroes and try to guess which literature works do they belong to. On the basis of available information, they will offer them occupations that suit their skills.
• Pupils will write / update their Profiles (their own CV's) on TwinSpace and the other pupils can suggest a profession for them.
• At the end of the project, an e-book (which will be a "memo" of occupations) will be created. It will help to understand the specific skills which the representatives of different occupations need.
Expected Results
During the project, pupils will learn how to fill in the Europass CV and find out what specific skills the representatives of the different occupations should have. Also pupils will be encouraged to read books, as well as to better understand the state of the heroes and assess their actions.

About Europass CV, we discussed during the project and we agreed that it is professional and too serious for our students.
So, we decided our students to change the CV form and suggest their sections.
Participating in international groups, they wrote in a Table the sections/adjectives... of a simple Common Collaborative CV.
